The eagerly anticipated HPD Intercooler upgrade for current model D-Max/MU-X & Mazda BT-50 is finally here.
As you can see, it’s nearly twice the size of the factory intercooler.
During dyno testing, once warmed up, even after seven back-to-back power runs, the cold side temperatures out of the HPD intercooler were consistently 40°C compared to the OEM unit’s 65-70°C. This is a testament to the HPD Bar & Plate Core’s resistance to heat soak and superior cooling performance.

Featuring HPD’s exclusive Bar & Plate Core design with cast alloy tanks and HPD's unique 10mm thick “knuckle duster” mounting brackets, CNC machined from solid billet alloy.
Map sensor boss is also CNC Machined and welded onto the intake pipe for perfect sensor fitment.
Piping diameter is increased from the factory diameter of 2" (50mm) to 2.5" (63mm) for better breathing to enable improved performance and economy.
All these elements are bonded together by HPD’s rockstar fabrication team to create an intercooler like no other.
With superior durability and performance, HPD’s IK-DM4-F unit will easily outperform and outlast the OEM unit and are engineered to tackle tough Aussie offroad conditions.
HPD's intercooler is designed to give added performance, reliability, consistent and sustainable power, by reducing inlet temperatures, engine running temperatures are also reduced.
HPD has also designed a transmission cooler kit to bolt in with our HPD intercooler, helping to maintain lower transmission tempatures with those increased loads while towing. Transmission Cooler found here
