Reid Racing's replacement Powerglide front pump is a 100% brand new pump designed from scratch to strengthen and update the original Powerglide pump for racing applications. This is not a duplicate of the original GM part. It's a completely engineered and redesigned iron pump for high performance racing applications: high strength cast iron for maximum rigidity and minimum distortion at high temperature; high clutch drum bushing pressure; factory machined for roller thrust bearing.

- Extra volume to prevent rocking or backing up when transbrake is applied
- Redesigned oil pathways to increase flow to converter and cooler
