XR6 Turbo Developments billet oil pump backing plates are created using 3d simulation and milling processes to ensure the highest level of flow and quality.
The plate is constructed of 4340 billet steel (unlike soft 6061 alloy plates on the market currently) which is 5 times stronger.
This also ensures the surface reduces blow by and air ingestion with its silk like finish.
We completely changed the factory design with increased flow and reduction of of foam in mind.
Finishing off with a surface grind within extreme tolarances to give you the ultimate pump seal.
