XR6 Turbo Developments Barra Main Girdle
XR6 Turbo Developments 10mm Billet steel Main cap girdle is designed with strength in mind. The issue with the factory 2 bolt main cap design is when getting up around the 500rwkw power level the main caps can walk on the block, and in turn will create an issue with main bearing alignment and premature bearing and crankshaft wear. When tying all main caps together with our girdle, all these issues will be solved. We have checked clearances on our own engines here, making sure the rotating assembly and sump won’t go close.
